dad just now come back, then he say dont know i in shower, thought i still outside. o.o
blur daughter, blur dad. but why kelvin laopa not blur?

then went downstairs buy veg. for my maid to cook for dinner.
bought chips.
then i go buy 2 popiah in case my dad hungry. i also hungry.
then i tell the auntie : ' auntie, the first one add more chilli. '
the auntie look at me like this : o.O and say : ' okok. '

then come home, dad splash me cold water.
he say : ' siao ah. buy chips buy popiah. not scared grow fat ah.  '
i say : ' not all for me lah. 1 for you. ' ( -__- !! )
he say : ' so guai ar? '
me think - plain sarcasm.
when eating that time, i say : ' today i buy so much stuff because i bad mood. so dont fire me. '
he diam diam wor.
i love-hate my dad for a reason. he shuts up at the right time, and crap at the wrong time.

my bro's trying to irritate me.
tmr he bball vs bpghs. good luck. bet you'll lose.

now i just want to coma sia. dont know why.

● Why forty waves away?

At first I was thinking of a made-up-word, but in the end I decided on this because I chanced upon this verse in the bible:
" And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. "
(Matthew 4:2)
Forty.

Some time later during church Pastor was sharing about Moses:
" So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments. " (Exodus 34:28)
Forty again.

At this point I was going through a downhill ride in my walk, and I was seeking the way out. Being really curious about the number forty in the bible, I went to search it out.
"... the number 40 generally symbolizes a period of testing, trial or probation. ..."

And so, I'm always reminded that nothing is further than forty waves away. This blog is hence dedicated to remember all the 'forty days' I'll meet and to remind myself that God will always provide a way out for every trial, whether if it really lasts forty days or even more. (alongside rants and random posts of course!!)
