You told me everything - first crush, first heartbreak, and of course first love. Nothing lasts forever. Seriously. Cheer up okay. Life's still so so so long. I want to go same JC with you when I'm 17, same university when I'm 19, go shopping together when I'm 20, attend your wedding when I'm 25. Dont give up because you let something go. Imagine how many people will cry lah. Dont flood my house, do my parents a favour. Even though you do have some flaws but you're definitely beautiful. :) No one is flawless. And... come on. I dont have good skills in consoling people. But dont fall down now. Your legs got no scars. Dont scar it, okay.  I know I suck at this. But, well. I'm still your friend, I have to crap. Lalala. ;) Go shopping sometime. I know I had been rejecting your invitations because my parents dont allow and dates clashes. Sorry. Promise will keep time for you! Okay. Dear friend. ● Why forty waves away?

At first I was thinking of a made-up-word, but in the end I decided on this because I chanced upon this verse in the bible:
" And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. "
(Matthew 4:2)
Forty.

Some time later during church Pastor was sharing about Moses:
" So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments. " (Exodus 34:28)
Forty again.

At this point I was going through a downhill ride in my walk, and I was seeking the way out. Being really curious about the number forty in the bible, I went to search it out.
"... the number 40 generally symbolizes a period of testing, trial or probation. ..."

And so, I'm always reminded that nothing is further than forty waves away. This blog is hence dedicated to remember all the 'forty days' I'll meet and to remind myself that God will always provide a way out for every trial, whether if it really lasts forty days or even more. (alongside rants and random posts of course!!)
