Yesterday,
first, the teachers' day celebration in BP, then after that, slack in class for awhile, then go Peihwa. Wait damn long for the damn 67 LOL. Then later meet Chelsea at the busstop, then went in, staffroom, saw Jinwen! Ms Loh was hiding for lunch LOL. Then walked around, saw people, then when Ms Loh came back we raided her. She like my cupcakes! YAY. Then later took pictures, saw Cristal and Peixuan. Then Mrs Chee, then etc etc, went for lunch with Jinwen, Cristal, Peixuan and Linghui. Fun time talking about stuff, like how we used to sit in class together and gossip. :P Now they're so pretty!! Esp. Jinwen, Cristal and Peixuan! Zhihan and Linghui too. Everyone grew taller, EXCEPT ME. SAD. EVEN CHIAM JIACHENG TALLER THAN ME ALR WTF. ): Charlotte, Dianyen, Cheryl, Kendra, etc etc, everybody lah. :) Pictures!

● Why forty waves away?

At first I was thinking of a made-up-word, but in the end I decided on this because I chanced upon this verse in the bible:
" And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. "
(Matthew 4:2)
Forty.

Some time later during church Pastor was sharing about Moses:
" So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments. " (Exodus 34:28)
Forty again.

At this point I was going through a downhill ride in my walk, and I was seeking the way out. Being really curious about the number forty in the bible, I went to search it out.
"... the number 40 generally symbolizes a period of testing, trial or probation. ..."

And so, I'm always reminded that nothing is further than forty waves away. This blog is hence dedicated to remember all the 'forty days' I'll meet and to remind myself that God will always provide a way out for every trial, whether if it really lasts forty days or even more. (alongside rants and random posts of course!!)
