Hello. Suddenly feeling very happy because I thought of banana. :P
Hmm, today was alright. Except that the day started with DM & OM nagging about how we vc and c should wear our collarbadges. :/ Then english, got back all english papers. I didnt expect my compo to turn out so lousy cause I though that should be my best compo written so far in my life. o.o Perhaps my failures are meant to be failures forever. My english compo never get A before, I think not even B LOL. Okay then after english was physics. 3 failures in class. I already guessed it was me. Destined to fail physics. Hais. Everyone get so high. ): At least got half mark, 24/50. Suay much.
Then bio, passed by 4 marks. Essay question on heart, I spent my remaining energy on it lor. I was sick on that day. x.x But guess what, 0/10 for that. OMG TOTALLY. I LOL-ed. Anyway, happy-go-lucky? I really have to work hard ler. ): Then math, I got 64, same as mid-years. Mr Chua say he expected more. :/ That was enough bah, I really didnt work hard. Oh and anyway, even if I studied, I cant seem to do well. Careless mistakes. Oh Mrs Chee, say thirty-three please? Help me correct my careless mistakes. ):
Got 25 for lit. Surprised.

Feeling like, disappointed now. :O In myself lah. ^^ Nevermind nevermind. 面壁思过吧, better yet, 撞壁. Byebye~

● Why forty waves away?

At first I was thinking of a made-up-word, but in the end I decided on this because I chanced upon this verse in the bible:
" And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. "
(Matthew 4:2)
Forty.

Some time later during church Pastor was sharing about Moses:
" So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments. " (Exodus 34:28)
Forty again.

At this point I was going through a downhill ride in my walk, and I was seeking the way out. Being really curious about the number forty in the bible, I went to search it out.
"... the number 40 generally symbolizes a period of testing, trial or probation. ..."

And so, I'm always reminded that nothing is further than forty waves away. This blog is hence dedicated to remember all the 'forty days' I'll meet and to remind myself that God will always provide a way out for every trial, whether if it really lasts forty days or even more. (alongside rants and random posts of course!!)
